Yhteiskunnan eriarvoistuminen itsenäisyyspäivän protestoinnin taustalla »

Poliisin mukaan tasavallan presidentin itsenäisyyspäivän vastaanoton aikana Tampere-talon edustalla mellasti rosvojoukko. Tutkijat, arkkipiispa ja presidentti Tarja Halonen näkevät protestoinnin taustalla merkkejä yhteiskunnan eriarvoistumisesta.

Pitkähkön tauon jälkeen tasavallan presidentin itsenäisyyspäivän vastaanottoa protestoitiin. Presidentinlinnan remontin vuoksi Tampere-talolla järjestettyä tilaisuutta vastusti noin parisataapäinen mielenosoittajien joukko.
